bringing soundstage up

I have 3 way 642 CDT components. This is in a 93 civic. The 6.5's are in the door and the midrange/tweeter in kickpods. The sound stage is low, I believe it is because the car is small and the kickpods are hard to angle up. Any suggestions?

flip phases on passenger side. you still should get a decent roll off in hiegth even if aimed poorly. x over points/slopes make a diff as well as gain settings on the amp. may i ask you a simple question? does your car sound very centered? like do the vocals in the music stay in one area? if not you have a phase problem in that case i always play with the passenger side

hummm... i have a 95 civic and yes it is hard to aim your sound stage. I'm guessing you have store bought kick pods? I had some and the sound was aimed at my knees. your better off making your own aimed at where "you" want your sound to be heard.

These were built by me. I am going to try changing the phase. Do you have pictures of your civic pods?

naw i broke them cuz they were q logic ones which are really flimzy. check this out ....http://www.sounddomain.com/ride/111440/3 it shows pods for a civic under construction.
