bridging question

No. They're just explaining how bridging works -- with JL amps and every other amp. In stereo mode, only the (+) of the (+/-) amp output is actually providing power to the speaker.

When you bridge, one of the channels is inverted so one channel drives the speaker in the (+) portion of the signal and the other channel drives the (-) portion.

The lt (+) is your (+) and the rt (-) is your (-)
