Bridging Question

I have a really old Pyramid amplifier (PB175), and I need to bridge it to use my 200W sub. It's a two channel amp with 120w per channel. The manual that came with it says absolutely nothing about bridging the amp. I've heard that some are internally bridged and if you don't hook it up properly you could fry it. What should I do?

Get a real amplifier.

If the manual doesn't say anything about bridging, you can probably conclude that it is not bridgeable.

Try it? It's junk anyways, so if it's fried, it won't make a difference. Unless you're like me and stuck without any money.

I've worked with some Pyramid amps that don't bridge. I wouldn't risk it. Use it for what it does... and don't hesitate to upgrade.
