bridging mono subwoofer?

hey can someone clear something up for me? i just got my audiocontrol EQX today and i notice it has two low-pass outputs. one is just a regular RCA low-pass output (i guess its stereo?) and the other is called low-pass mono inverted. the manual says the mono inverted output bridges the sub configuration. does that mean that if my idMAX is wired in 4 ohms, itll see a 2 ohm load bridged??? i dont quite understand bridging and am not sure if i should use the regular low-pass output or the mono inverted output. the amp im using is a modded mtx 1501d.

Technically, there is no way the RCA input on the amp will effect load on the speaker outputs only the voice coils on the speakers can effect that.

I beleive that what they are talking about is using the summed output for amplifiers that are not bridgable or installations where the amp is wired in stereo to the subwoofers, the summed output allows for a mono signal regardless of how you have connected your subs to the amp.

Some people want a left and right channel for midbass applications so a stereo sub output is offerd as well.

sorry, thread jack. jsloan10, give mitch hedberg props for that quote. he deserves it (RIP).

Back on topic, i have no fcking clue. sorry man.
