Bridging at 2 ohms

Hey, If I had an amp that is 2 ohm stable with the specs:

# 2 ch: (4 Ohm) 50W x 2 RMS

# 2 ch: (2 Ohm) 65W x 2 RMS

# 1 ch: (4 Ohm) 125W x 1 RMS

can I safely bridge it at 2 ohms, and what would the RMS value be approximately?

it would state it

it depends on the amp. Yours mot likely cannot.

Jensen A1000, its about 3/4th the way down the page. And it does say 2 ohm stable here. I don't have the amp yet. I was researching it before I bought it from a guy on craigslist.

its going to be 2 ohm stable per channel....4 ohms bridged...if you try it at 2 ohms bridge , the amp is going to get really hot and let out some magic smoke.....

i hope your not paying alot for it..

Hmm, well do you guys have any suggestions for an amp that'll put out about 100 - 150 RMS at 2 ohms? but its also not 2 ohm stable, I was told though that if I don't crank it all the way and keep it in a spot where it can breathe it'd be alright.

I don't have a lot of money to spend and the sub is just some old clarion without a model number, just want a little bass to round out my sound until I can build a nice system.
