what do i hook up to bridge my subs to give them more power?? positive to what? negative to what?
its not often that i get to correct you zane....so here goes....he stated he has 2 audiobahn subs....not pyramid......heh...got yaOriginally posted by zane Sounds like your subs are Dual Voice Coil or DVC models. To determine the impedence or ohms of each Voice Coil, you need a multi-meter. Set the meter on ohms (looks like an upsidown horse shoe) then connect the posative lead to the posative terminal of the speaker and the negative lead to the negative terminal of the speaker. The impedence of the voice coil will be displayed on the multimeter.
From your description, the subs can be wired like this to achieve an impedence that the amp will handle. Pyramid is not stable much at all below 4 ohms, so this would be the best effective way to wire your subs.
