Brett Favre: I'm an attention *****

I see a few people talking about Rodgers like they had actually seen him play, i think unless you have been to there training camps or pre-season games, you shouldnt be talking shit about him. I have watched Rodgers, he has a faster reaction than Favre, he gets along better with the team, he has a great arm (maybe not as good as Favres but hes still great), and hes been sittin on the bench for four years, he deserves his chance and Im sure Favre would agree. Its not that Ted Thompson doesnt want Favre back, its that Favre left when he said his time was up and we have moved out team on.
that stuff sounds all good and stuff, but nothing matters but how you perform in a game

he might have a quick reaction, nice arm, etc, but being a QB is about reads and how you do in a game when its time to make a play. This is something we cant judge from just watching a guy in training camp

why does it make him an attention *****, he still wants to play. If the packers want him back then they can sign him, if they move on thats fine. Brett said it himself thats fine let him play for somebody else....

When rogers came in and played a bit last year or year before ( cant remember which i think it was last year in one of the nfl network exclusive games ) he did alright

Then appearantly you didnt watch him play the Bears game last year. I will give you a breif summary of how it went. Favre started the game and sucked, I beleive he threw three interceptions then left the game, Rodger came in and got two touchdowns and put us in field goal range for an extra 3. We still lost but Rodgers played much smarter and overall better than Favre did, im sure there were many times where McCarthy would have loved to put him in too but couldnt due to Favre. So before you talk about how Rodgers can't play the real game, try watching him. Hes got a lot of talent and has proven it too, but nobody watches him as he is over shadowed by Favre.

he still has two years left on his exsisting contract if my memory serves me correct, he is asking to be released from his contract to sign on another team.

i agree with this list 100%, and i dont think it will be manning beating all these guys. tom brady will be the one. whether we all want to admit it or not he is probably the best QB in the league, and he has rings, and after this year of pure god like performance he has the stats to prove it.

I understand this fully and did watch the game. And yes he did a decent job relieving Favre. But to mentally prepare week in and week out to HAVE to win is a different situation.

Not saying that he isnt capable, just that its easier said then done.

Oh, so you are basing how good Rodgers is off training camp and one game he came in because he did better than Farve? Nice.............//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I guess people can't have a bad day anymore. Amazing!

Rodgers is OK, but he will never be a Farve, nor do the things he has done.

I personally think they should let him go to do what he wants with his life. If he still wants to play, then let him play. I see nothing wrong with that.

And lol at Rodgers getting along better with his teammates. Are you a Packers fan? Did you not see how much fun Farve was having with his teammates last year?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
