if someone comes up and demands your wallet, who cares. give it to them. if you're smart you don't carry lots of cash around you just for the hell of it. i don't usually have more than 20 cash on me unless i'm going to buy something. what's more important? the two hundred dollars in your wallet? or the hundreds or possibly thousands you could pay in legal fees or even worse, hospital fees you might have to pay?

am i saying that i think you deserve to be mugged? no. but since you apparently know what a shitty world this is, then why make yourself a target?

ya but what about other important stuff u might have in your wallet? people carry credit cards, debit cards, their AAA cards, their movie cards, their school id, their fake id...

that shit is such a hastle to get all that replaced. u just gotta defend urself, or youll be walked on forever.

dude, i've seen dozens of these situations. they can usually be avoided.... but street fights don't go multiple rounds.

I laugh at people with brass knuckles, because if you know how to box effectively, you won't need them. A good punch literally feels like getting smacked in the face with a 5lb weight. If you can't deliver a solid hit with your fist, then brass knuckles really aren't that advantageous.

It's easy to say defend yourself here, but when you get jumped by 3 people one holding a gun to your head it's a different story. Happens on campus lots. Not to scrawny kids. If you'd fight back in that situation, you're just an idiot.

Secondly, if you need brass knuckles to fight, you probably dont know how to use them. You still need to be able to fight lol. Why don't you just carry a switchblade around for protection.

amen. I've been boxing, and doing mma off and on for a few years (actively doing mma now) and it makes a huge difference in your confidence level. knowing that I'd have a game plan. Might not always work out, but i don't have to remember my weapons in the morning on my way to work.
