I just ordered a brand new set of HD-62s that arrived today. as i was installing them i realized one of the woofers didn't power up. i checked the cross overs and the other woofer and it sounded fine. i even connected my old speaker (diamond hex) to the cdt cross over and that powered up fine.

does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this problem? i dont want to believe that i recieved a bad woofer, but i can't think of any other explanation. any help would be appreciated.

the problem is it's cdt- their not worth the money. now that everybody has jumped on the bandwagon with them, cdt is under mass production. i would'nt be surprised if you got a dud woofer. return the cdt's and get you some helix comps. same price better quality imo

oh shut the hell up guy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

every company on the planet sells a dud once.

just because one person out of many has a problem is not a reason that CDT is this or that.

guy call the company you bought your woofer from, explain the situation, and see if you can get a warranty replacement.

but first hook a multimeter up to the terminals and verify that it is not correct.

i just took it to my friends house and he tested it for me. apprently there was a poor connection between the speaker terminals and the actual speaker. he resoldered the wire for me and now it works perfectly. thanks for your help guys. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
