I've run high level input to my sub amp tapping into the rear harness and didn't have any issues. Don't think you'll have any issues. You'll eventually want to upgrade and amp the front and rear anyway, trust me.Ok quick question about this DQ-61. I'm not seeing an option in the instructions for use with subs only. All of the set ups have the speaker wires coming in and RCA outs for the amps. Would there be an issue with splicing into one of the existing rear speaker wires and using it for the in as well as using that same wire to power the speaker. All of the set ups have the ins being terminated to the DQ-61 but not both to the speaker and DQ.
Do not play them any more until you set the gains right man! You're gonna burn something up.Them janks THUMP!!!!!
I need to work on tuning it tomorrow because it keeps shutting off randomly(clipping prob) but **** I'm impressed. Took a minute to get the DQ To work because the auto turn on only worked on front channel (1st channel)and sub output (3rd channel) used the 2nd channels signal. Just made jumpers. But **** I wanna go driving lol.
Oh and I need to clean up the wiring and ****. This was just a test run. I'll post build pics later
14-16 gauge is fineWhat type of wiring should i be using to tap into the rear speakers? Thats the only thing I need really. Installing sometime this weekend. I suppose Ill have no clue what Im doing as far as tuning either but that cant be too hard right?
