I guess im gonna stick with 10s. Trying to not be so indecisive. Why E10v2 over SD-10s? They are both 500w but one is a lot cheaper. I guess Ill roll with that 1000D. Now for a box? Sealed or ported? Ill probably get a box from that site that was listed on the first page.

The e's are 500, sa's are 600. Ported for sure. Do not get a prefab! Can you build one?

SAs are 600, SDs and those E10v2s are 500. I could build one. It would be a fun little project. My dad is stupid good with carpentry so im sure I could just bring the wood over if we had the plans.

Think about this.....20.00 for the cut sheet and 35.00 for the mdf......built exactly for the subs you get. How much for a generic prefab that might sound good?

Do you mean hds? Email him and ask which would be better for you. He's in Roanoke, dunno how close that is to you.

Got it, the sd's are shallow mount so you're going to pay more. Go with the e's.

Gotcha. Ok if im building a box I guess im gonna need info with wiring. are those like rca plugs on those things now? i havent ever seen anything other than the old clip on stuff.

2 good ways to wire the box. The best way is with bolts, washers and nuts with ring terminals. The second option is to wire the subs directly (drill a tight hole through the box for the wire to go through) and silicone or caulk around the hole. Don't buy speaker terminals, they tend to leak.
