The model 51R is made to fit into the small space against the firewall in honda civics... this is the only battery I know of that will fit that spot... I have a civic myself and I couldn't even fit a stinger sp1000 in there...

Here are the specs:

CA 625

CCA 500

AH 41

RC 70

It's the one on the bottom row in the middle in the photo.

I would suggest a yellow top... it's most widely used as a "car audio" battery... that's what I use:)

Originally posted by FAM4LIFE I may take one of the $99 yellow tops. However, I had a mechanic tell me my 98 Olds Intrigue couldn't fit a Yellow Top. Is it possible to run it from the trunk in the spare tire compartment.
Absolutely... you could use it as a secondary battery... you just need to fuse the main wire that runs between them on both ends to protect from short circuit in the event of an accident...

if i were wanting to do the same as others and just have a deep cycle for under the hood for audio which one would you recommend scottie?? 93 gmc jimmy and i am running 1750 right now hopefuly will be closet to 3kw before the end of 03'.

I would actually recommend the big optima... I priced it wrong above... it should read 179... I just havn't got around to changing it yet... but a normal yellow under the hood would work just fine... then later on you could get an extra for the back...
