I am running 2 12" Diamond M6mk2s,powered by a DA1500.1(1850w)

and they have served me well, but I am looking to go to something different

I have been eyeing the Brahmas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif and the RL-p's

But perhaps they both are not much of a departure from what I am currently bumpin too already?

I currently run a 12inch Brahma and have run 2 Diamond 10M6D4. I do not believe that you would gain that much is SQ at lower volumes but if you like to run your subs close to their peak then I would say you would definately notice a difference with a Brahma(s). The Brahmas have more xmax and have the potential to play a little louder easier IMO.

Well speaking from hearsay. I would think that the Brahma and the RL-p would be a huge step forward. Consider that the Brahma is now near 500 dollars though, and the RL-p can be had for 235. You could get two RL-p 12's or even 15's for the price of a single Brahma, and I can assure you from how happy people are with their RL-p's, that you wont be disapointed.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif the MSRP on a new brahma 12 is only $420. But again, that is only MSRP and no one knows how much they will ACTUALLY sell for--online OR at a shop. MSRP on an Rlp is $450.

Speaking from hearsay?

odd remark to say the least - hearsay is almost like a whimsical suggestion based around 0 facts - I agree the Brahma would get louder, louder than the M6 & prolly louder than the SS(not sure though)

however my m6 is loud enough for me,and thats not what I am after (a little more is always nice though)

I have decided not to switch subs, cause the 3 mentioned would it would apear to be a latteral move rather than a high step upwards, give or take a few notches

So if I am going step up , TDX or Tummult, to name a few would be more approprate to see a huge change in SQ and output ,and require a hell of alot more amp than I am willing to use on my ears

So,ill beat mine to a pulp which have a MSRP of 349.00 (of which I paid half that)

Ah I see, I thought that is waht they were going for, thanks for the correction. I hope they go for much less than that.

Not sure where you got that info, but both the Rl-p and Brahma (and many other subs) will meet or exceed the TDX in terms both sound quality (accuracy/distortion) as well as linear output capabilities. So, if you consider the TDX to be a "huge" step up, many of the other subs would be a major step up aswell.

I second that, I only have 1 RL-P 15 and am amazed every time I crank it up. I never had the m6, I had the TDX 12's, but for the money I have not heard anything close.
