Brahma, Solo barics, or Type Rs?

Ok I already have the amp, it is an MTX 81000d and I am still working on what subs to get.

the choices are as follows:

-single 15" Brahma

-2 12" solo barics L5

-2 12"/15" Type Rs (still havent decided on size)

so my question is this, what do you all think about these? What would give me the best SPL? The best SQ? The best mix of both? What kind of box would be best?

Lastly, they are going in a Toyota truck (no comments) so i dont have A LOT of room, but plan on filling the entire cab of the truck. So please dont suggest a HUGE box.

if you don't want a huge box but want a great mix of SPL and SQ i suggest the single Brahma 15". simply b/c 1 the type R's are great subs fully capable subs in both SQ and SPL but i wouldn't use them myself. next the solo's are great woofers just mostly SPL and still the Brahma is better. i would say get a brahma 15" simply b/c they can be put in small sealed box's for daily driver's and still bump very hard. oh and nice name copycat. just kiddin

Im running 2 12" brahmas rite now, and my friend 1 15....

i can tell you that my friends brahma gets pleny loud and hs awesome sq.....i would suggest the brahma out of the three choices

Properly installed, the solo-barics have the ability to get louder than any of the other woofers mentioned. I've seen some ridiculously loud installs with them involved.

Overall sonic purity would go to the Brahma in my opinion, with the type R in second.

Most of Kicker's products are excellent in build quality and design, but need a larger box than I'd usually install in-car to get a decent frequency response plot.

Hard to argue with the space you have to give up for a brahma 15", which is pretty small sealed.
