Check out sound illusions. Lloyd did a test (although SPL) for both the Brahma and the XXX. The XXX was louder, although I'm not sure how their sound quality matches up. I know the Brahma's strength does not lie in SPL, though.

Havent heard any of those but i own a RE Hc 10" it's perry loud with only 500 watts and hella good SQ at the same time. If it was me ill pick the XXX

I'm thinking about upgrading to 1 Brahma 15" sub. It would be put in like a 1.5-2 ft. cu. enclosure until i get a new car and have room for a ported box. I will be running it @ 1000 watts @ 4 ohms.

I just wan't to know if anybody thinks that this sub will not only hit harder in the sealed enclosure than my 2 12"s, and if it will have comparable SQ. because i def. don't want a muddy fart, i like SQ in my subs.

What 12's do you have? If you want SQ put the 15" Brahma in a 3.0cuft box before displacement. It will yeild a flatter response.

I have 2 diamond audio M5's.

Edit: running off of a 1kW PPI amp. @ 4 ohms. The SQ is very very respectable, and so is the SPL.. i just want to know if the SPL would be louder with a dual 2 ohm Brahma 15" in around 2.5 cubes to 3 cubes of total room.

yeh, i was gonna get them metered, but then again my mom took away my car for the only Comp that comes in my area.

i was extra pissed. but i am estimating around 140-150. and that is with my subs going to their limits.

I've heard M5's before but never heard a brahma. The M5's weren't too bad but not all that great for SPL. I did like the SQ though, they were really clear. I've read on other forums that diamond audio is a very top knotch SQ company. Maybe check out there new line of subs that are like 10'' deep for good SPL and SQ.

Yeah, i am impressed w/ the SQ, that is for sure. But i'm just lookin for more SPL. I mean, i can already feel the bass from like 10 feet away from my jeep, so it isn't that bad. But i just want more
