Brahma 12 sealed

I am on a pretty tight budget for cash and space. I was thinking of 1 Brahma 12 in a sealed box powered by a JBL bp1200.1, will this be a good setup? Since the Brahma is pushing the limits of my spending budget, are there any subs cheaper that sound as good and get as loud/louder? thanks in advance for the help.

The single B12 in about 1 cubic foot sealed has proven itself time and time again with that exact setup. You should be very happy with the results. What is your budget exactly? I may be able to help.

I was origninally hoping no more than $500 dollars for my sub/amp combined, but when i first saw the Brahma and XXX, i knew i had to have one. And since the XXX is considerably more, i decided to go with a Brahma. Like I said, it is still pushing my budget, but if it's that good of a sub, i think I can save a little more.

Not sure what your budget is, But I got a brand new JBL 1200.1 for 240$ on ebay, and am gonna get the brahma 15" from Jlaine..quality/bang for the buck its a **** good deal. Btw..Jlaine how would I go about placing that order w/you?

The XXX and the Brahma are almost exactly the same price. The price listed on RE's website is just MSRP. Email them if you want the real price.

Where can i get a XXX for the same price as a Brahma. It will be a single 12 in a sealed box. How do their SQ compare? Also, which one will get louder? I don't have an amp yet, but I was thinking of a JBL bp1200.1. I would go ported, but I have pretty limited space.

well i bought the XXX 15" for $440 shipped. You can email RE to get a list of authorized distributors or just ask them to send you one. I ordered mine from Black00 on this forum, you can email him if you need info.

no offence, but in case you don't understand, RE puts the MSRP prices up on their website, but i don't think they've ever sold anything at that price. i just e-mailed them about their amp, MSRP $599, they said it's actually $369 shipped. also, i know that the 12" SE says $239 MSRP, and they actually sell it for more like $180-190. so yeah, the XXX might say $554 for the 12, but i bet it's more like $350
