I painted my type R 12, here are some pics

The frame was cracked, it had no resale value... so I figured i"d give it a shot, came out real nice IMO.

on that note, the woofer still works fine... the frame is gorilla glueing right now, and it really wasn't hurting anything structurally in the first place.

Ebay cheapo packing > type R engineering.

SOB, I took out the flux and put in a stinger... I thought 3 farads would make my lights be 100% brighter and make my battery transform into a die hard - the king of all batteries.

As far as the muffler, I got custom headers made just for this baby... turbo BR12, it might sound like something you put in a honda, but its goin in my blazer!!!!!!!

any comments on the paint btw? The pic is actually after some wet sanding, a few coats later and it should be a really nice deep blue color.

DIdn't feel like buying any. The woofer is sill structurally sound, and the way it broke, it really didnt matter. More or less, I just wanted to be able to pick up teh woofer without having to pay attention to where I grabbed... the gorilla glue should do that much.
