the kid did the right thing. he used escalation of force as his statement says. verbily tried to get him to stop and he didnt so he stepped it up to physical force.

if the facts are true as stated in this story, he should not be charged. 3rd party self-defense can be used. if the original person could use deadly force to defend themselves, the 3rd party may do the same if there is no other option, and reasonably believes deadly force is being used upon the original victim.

Kid did the right thing, I don't know anyone who would think twice about doing something like that if they saw their mother in trouble. Granted an older person could have resorted to the frying pan or a boot to the ribs or something, but there isn't much a 12 year old can do to a grown man.

I used to play CS a lot when i was in college with frineds.

Now i play Call of Duty 2 multiplyer - i think its based on the same engine. Fun.

And when u r "humiliated"--you are the only one who hears it NOT everybody in the server as in CS. lol
