Don't know how else to put a better title but bear with me here. Im building a box and I want to run the wires through a drilled hole. Do I have to silicone it afterwards? What do you guys use?

If its ported, usually through the port.

If its sealed either a drill hole and silicone or a terminal.

If you dont seal the hole it can leak quite a bit

Just tuck is under the enclosure.

Most people dont care.

Or you can spend $4 and get a terminal from radiuo shack
