Box Sze?

I currently have my subs (2 diamond m6mkII 10d4's) running in a sealed enclosure, but I want to build a ported box just to see what the difference is. My biggest problem right now is that winisd recommends a 1.67 cu ft box (or is that 1.67 cu ft per woofer?) tuned to 32 hz where as diamond recommends 1.25 cuft per sub tuned to 38 hz. WHich if either of those should I go with? ALso, what would be the difference in those two boxes spl and sq wise? Thanks.

i believe winISD calculates for both subs, if u entered 2.

i'd recommend building to diamond's specs. it will most likely geared to giving u a good mix of spl/sq...

Im thinking that such a small box tuned to 38 hz might be kind of peaky and not very smooth. Also, wouldnt a larger box tuned lower get louder and lower?
