What do you think about a 1.85 cube box (sealed) for a 12W7 - its powered by a 1000/1. I want to try something for a little more sound quality, not just loudness. I have a ported box as of now

For being a W7 man, you sure do question alot of enclosures for them... Seems like an okay idea. Got a good electrical system to pump that 1/1?

Well I want to ask peoples opinion before I go out and build it. As far as the electrical system, I am going to upgrade something soon. I am still debating what I should do first.

What type of music do you listen to? What are the specs of your box? What is your frontstage/soruce unit like? The 1000/1 should do okay without a new alt and maybe even just a decent stock battery. they make the same power from 11.5 to 14v they handle low voltage very well with the regulated intelligent power supply thats really what you pay the extra $ per watt for with JL slash series - and the name of course. For rock go sealed bigger if you like lower notes smaller if you like 50-60hz bass drums. If you mostly listen to rap try a new small-ish ported enclosure 1.75-2.0@30-32hz would be good sq. RCA cables help along with dynamat.

That was for a 13w7 that I sold a long time ago so **** you
