sealed without a doubt...as for the size, a friend of mine has his 12's in a 3ft^3 box (1.5 per sub) and it sounds fabulous. but if you dont want to make your own box, i suppose you could just buy a well-built one with 1.25ft^3 per chamber, that would also work fine.

 
thats what i was thinking too. I have one in a sealed and it sounds really nice and accurate. Than I tried putting the other in a vented and it wasnt as accurate and it wasnt too much louder either

 
yea...perfects definitely weren't made for ported setups, but as long as you have a well made box with 1.25 to 1.5cu.ft it should work out fine
