box for a 15 re se

i bought Mr Loki's RE SE 15 and i would like to know if any one could help me out on a box? it ***** because i can only go about 15.5 inches high, and about 48 inches wide and about 28 deep max, any ideas? the height is difficult for me, i would like it tuned at about 31 hz or so

15.5 high leaves a 14" cutout, if you cut it out 14 1/8 you can just sand down the MDF in the way a little bit and it will still fit in there fine.

what Vb do you want? whats the sub displacement? what do you want your port area to be?

vos I'm in the same boat. I'm gettin the same sub but I need to fit it in a trunk that's only 13.5 inches high.

Come on guys thats simple face the sub up toward the sky and fire the port back. Simple fit and thats plenty room vos you only need 4 cubes with those measurements thats 9 easy.

just make a slanted face box... :duh:

yeap that would work and the port would be VERY tricky. Like I said you could just keep it simple face the sub toward the sky fire the port to the rear and you would be fine. With that amount of space dude you have many options you just fail to see it..thats fine, ima be here to help.

jeremy, pm sent, im gonna post what i sent you just in case any one else wants to see what im going for, ive never built a box with the sub faced up, i want to this time,

k heres a simple pic on paint of what i want

the max height i can have is about 14 , i would like it around 12, then i can see the sub, max width is 35 depth 34



i would like it tuned at 31 hz or a bit lower what would you reccomend for the volume? 3.5 cubic feet?

and you can see where i want the port and where i want the sub, if that will affect it in any way i would like the sub in the front where i have it,
