Im wanting to make it as small as possible, but using WIN ISD the box looks terrible until I get up too like 8 cu ft. And sealed looked completely terrible with extreme roll off. Can anyone come up with a smokin box for all 6 of these thats under 4-5 cu ft. I had planned on all of them sharing box space. im looking for an SQL box leaning torwards more SQ

Well my plan is too power it with an PPI A1200 and I figure you wire 3 of them parallel so they are all 3 ohms, then series them to 9, then do the same thing with the other 3. Then you parallel the 2 groups to make a 4.5ohm load which the A1200 can handle, it will just be throwing out a little bit less power, maybe what? 900-1000watts? Experts help me out!

I want to see this in person //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Fan of v1 w6's and art series amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Try them sealed- each sub has itss own individual to spec chamber... Then you can wire the whole works however you need to, no worries. This is a difficult thig to call on, but lotta people say that w6's are served best sealed.

Ive been checking out the sealed configuration, but I must not complete understand it since ive always been a ported fan. the roll off it is extreme on a sealed is seems. im looking at -7db at 31hertz with less max db?

Vented I come up with something like 9.062 cu ft, tuned to 27hz with 1 4" by 4" port 3.16 in long and thats is at negative -4db at 20hz. Only draw back is the size of the box. Im lookin at like under 4 cu ft with the sealed opposed to 9 with the vented.

Can someone help me out here?

just FYI - winisd is completly inaccurate when it comes to group delay plots and frequency charts.

its close enough to make guesstimates, but you should never swear by it. try to graph a TC9 driver (like the RLP) it will look horrible and be wicked inaccurate.

just figure out what each 8w6 needs on its own, and mutiply it by 6.
