Box for 2 Alpine Type R2 10s??

Hey, does anyone have experience with the Alpine Type R2 10s? I have 2 in my system currently in a generic sealed box powered by an Arc Audio X2 1100.1 amp.

I enjoy them in my daily driver (2015 GTI) at a "reasonable" volume with the gain knob between 1/4 to 1/2 but often turn it up to bang, and am looking for more bang when I do so...

I plan to have a custom ported box made to spec in the next week or 2, but was curious if anyone knows how these sound in a bandpass enclosure vs ported. Should I even bother digging into the idea of an enclosure other than ported?

I would just go with a ported box tuned from 32 hz. - 35 hz.
