Box Building Help

So this is going to be my first box ive built, two 12" DD 9500 are going into it.

What square footage would you all suggest? The box itself is going to be under the rear seat, but has plenty of room to be a decent sized box. What is the optimum tuning for a hard hitting, good sounding box that doesn't destroy shit?

Also any tips for building would be awesome!

id say about 4cuft with about 64-68" of port and tune them between 35-38hz.

may even go as high as 4.5cuft, thats a big box to go under a seat.

HDC's tuned between 38-42Hz sound VERY good on rock as that's mostly what I listen to. Plenty of punch on kick drums...
