is the double baffle to allow for adequite spacing between the back wall and the pole vent? looks good

yeah, the iDmax is pretty deep. Plus i think the extra baffle piece adds a nice touch and makes the box look bigger than it really is, although it's only 1.2x~ cubes.

yea it seems to give it a little extra depth/character. its diferent then just a totally flat face.

I think i like it better than the normal rectangle/square sealed boxes, but that's just me. I think i may do this to my future boxes.

Thanks. I don't see why you can't do it as good, or even better, unless you haven't tried it yet. It's quite easy if you do the rabbeted edges, which i have to give credit to bjfish for since i learned it from his tutorial.

On this box, i did one my best looking seams.
