Box build for a 15" TC 5200

TC's small box recomendations

2.6ft^3@34hz with 25in^2 of port.

Sooo....

Plenty of port area, correct size, and tuned a tad lower.

Update...

Done except for carpet and terminal.

You can see a small split on the front where the kerf starts. I dropped the beast on my leg before it was fully assembled and it started to split.

(so did my leg) and I didn't have enough wood to remake the whole piece so I just repaired it from the inside so it's solid. I was going to fill in the front but I got lazy, I may go back and do it later, we'll see how I like the box first.

Port and front are covered in spray on bed liner, the rest will be carpeted in a dark charcoal color. Amp should be here on Wednesday so the box will be done before then.

Box is carpeted, amp should be here today so hopefully everything will be installed by tomorrow.

I might try and clear coat the bed liner spray for more of a gloss finish.

Installed the box today. It's a little tighter than I wanted (won't slide back as far as I planned) but I think it's because I removed the false floor and put the original floor back in.

Probably going to build a new box when my new amps get here.

That looks nice as hell, you waiting for amp to power it?
I'm powering it with a Directed 2400D right now until my SAZ-3000D comes.

someones bound to ask it so are those cracks around the baffle ring?
Yes, the screws I used cracked the baffle a little, I should have pre drilled the holes.

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
