*Box and Light Help*..please

Hi, I really had no idea what to search for honestly so i started the thread, I want to build a box with a plexiglass top...first of all is that possible and would it work? and secondly if i do so, i want to put a light bar inside that beats to the music, how would i wire that up?

i dont know about the light beating to the music. But I built box this weekend with a 1/2" thick lexan window to show magnet thru and put a small neon tube in box. I just wired it to remote and ground wire on amp, but it just comes on with the amp
