Bought these PG speakers, what budget amp to get?

Might want to look at Profile amps from what I have raed on this site they are a solid budget amp and i'm sure they will have something that will give those rsd's the power they need.

Cadence TXA-3002 150 x 2 @4ohm $129.00 shipped would be ideal. You can run a Cadence TXA-1502 75 x 2 @4ohm $99.00 shipped will run them fine also.

Cadence TXA-3002 150 x 2 @4ohm

Wont that over power them, being the PG speakers are 60 watts RMS each

And the Profile AP1000

Being more than twice the rated RMS @ 160 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms

the rsd's are said to take over double their rms rating as long as the power is pure clean unclipped signal. i have heard they sound best with a good 100-150 wrms to each side.

i plan to get a set and power them with a kicker zx450.2 when the money comes my way.

So what amp, ive basically been recommended these

-Profile AP1000

-Profile 400SX

-Cadence TXA-3002 150 x 2 @4ohm

-Cadence TXA-1502 75 x 2 @4ohm

I plan on added a sub down the road, will i need an an amp for the components, and another for the subs? Or more than a 2 channel amp to run both?

Im open to more recommendations, will be purchasing in a few weeks.

i dont suggest you go double anything's rms, especially components. my eclipse comps are only 65w rms and my amp does 75 x 2, and they are plenty loud. no need to double up power on a component. properly set the gain and 60-75 watts is more than enough for a standard daily driver

everybody seems to say the rsd's can take well over their rated power without issues as long as the power is clean power. so i plan to give them the 120-150 everybody says to give them. even if they blow they cost $90 on ebay for the complete setup.

Most people are running around 100-150w per side or a amp rated to do that. Just because an amp is rated to provide 150w it is not providing that at all times. Just because you have the power on tap does not mean you have to use it all. More power than you need allows you headroom or power in reserve. With gains lower it lowers the noise floor. Maxing the gains out and driving the amp into clipping is one hell of a way to destroy you speakers quick. Also you have to adjust the gains properly. I would get into all this but it would alot more typing than I care to do. Some of you guys need to do some research and learn a little about car audio with some of the stuff you say.

Here is a link for you to do some research and learn something about car audio today. This speakers about power, excursion, distortion, what actually blows a speaker ect.
