Bought some new headphones

Most ear canal headphones are uncomfortable until you play with the different size foam pieces and get used to them. I love em because others don't hear what you're listening too, you can put the volume lower because of the isolation, and the clarity is awesome.
I have the old shure e2c's and they're pretty good. Little pricey when I bought them a year ago ($100). Kind of lacking in low end bass but clarity is very good.
I just didn't want to make a 50-100 dollar mistake you know? And go through the hassle of returning them if it didn't work out...plus I wanted something that will stay on my head no matter what I did //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yeah, took me a long time to finally break down and spend that much. I'm glad I did though because I use them at work everyday. I use them at the gym too, they stay in better than anything else i've worn.

Try an ear canal next time you buy. I'm thinking about trying the OP's (looking for better bass), idk though I think there are some better ones out there for the same price.

The Koss porta pros are awesome, but they are open air which I don't like...if they were closed back I would be all over them as they are renowned as being one of the best sounding headphones under 100 dollars. The grados S60s (I think?) were also up there, but again, open air //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
I did a lot of research, and i couldn't really find anything that compared for under 50 bucks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

These are the ones both me and my dad have and we both love them. For the money, they are hard to beat.

Not excatly a looker, but who cares about that. I know I don't.

These are the ones with great reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Koss-PortaPro-Headphones-with-Case/dp/B00001P4ZH/ref=pd_bxgy_e_text_b?ie=UTF8&qid=1200158493&sr=8-3
I almost got them, but alas they weren't closed...don't want to disturb everyone around me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have probably put round 10 hours on my AKGs and I love them...The bass isn't perfect, but very punchy, and extends very low...Slightly overpowering, but I like that, and not as overpowering as other headphones...the material is very plushy as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yeah, I thought about those, but I was sold on these being the reviews were just as good if not better and they were cheaper. I think both would have been worth it.

Glad to hear you like yours, like I said my AKG are lossless sound studio headphones that are about 4 years old now and I bought them for me because I was a drummer at one time as well, but got out of it when I moved and I gave them too my dad, even though he has others, but meh, I didn't need them at the time. Well when I finally got to hooking my custom computer back up and getting a MP3 player, I wanted to try something new, so went with these and couldn't be happier with them. I have them on right now, lol!
