boston pro 60 se, 3-ohm? what amp?

the 3 ohm thing is throwing me off. the only amp that i have found that might work is the jl audio 300/2v2. but its 150rms and the bostons are rated at 125 rms.

what do you guys think? will it work well or will it be putting me on the brink of explosion!

i have the same speakers with a sundown 125.2. it will put out somewher between what the amps 2 and 4 ohm rating is

so you are probably running around 160rms or so? how long have you been running them like that? pros/cons?

yea give or take. its been about 6 months. and ive had no problems and the speakers sound good. no cons besides the tweeter is a little bright for me even at -3db on the crossover.

thanks man!i was just a little worried about running them a little over rms. there not cheap so i dont wanna blow them.

ive read ppl running 300 watts on them. so you should be fine just go easy on the gain.

When I ran them I had over 250 on them. Feed em, they can take it.
