boston acoustis alternative?

i have boston pros in my truck and i really enjoy them. honestly, its the first set of higher end components ive owned. my wife is ready for me to install some stuff in her car. she enjoys the clarity and ability to get loud the bostons offer but sometimes the tweets are a bit much. so im looking for something comparable but maybe with a silk tweeter. any thing u guys suggest ill look into. lets say 6 1/2"s and around $350. i wont be upset if its less. it does need to be better than an alpine type r set, she kept blowing tweets in her old car... couldnt get enough volume.

Another set of bostons? Just aim the tweeters firing at the window and it made mine tone down a lot and made a pretty good sound stage...

Aiming at the window opens up more chances for reflections, not a good idea generally.

I would suggest Hybrid Audio Imagines or Pioneer TS-D1702c both are great sets
