I had a pair of the 12.5LF's.....for all of about 6 hours until I smoked them both //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif They were my first "expensive" sub purchase.
This was back in my young and nieve days...clipping was what the lady at the salon did to my hair, not something my amplifier was capable of.......

Oh well, ended up "trading" those in (long story) for a pair of Eclipse 88120DVC's and was more than pleased //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Oh shit .... What did you do ??? Under power them ? Cause I had a friend who had a pair of 12.5's and he was feeding them 1200w EACH from Precision Power Powerclass ( chrome ) amps !!!

Nah....it was back in my days before the concept of proper gain setting was part of my knowledge base //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Improper gain settting = amp clipping to hell = blown woofers in a very short time span. I demo'd a pro 12.5 like 5-6 years ago,I was very impressed. look great inverted also
