Boomintahoe

says who? i love the LS but i wouldn't say its the best motor. they are light cheap and reliable but hell i can name a hand full of V8s that can say the same..
LS motor is not the best motor??? LOooooooOoOOoOOOOOOOllllL

I have seen so many older dodge and etc. Fans do ls swap.

The cummins design was based off the original LS.

Its highly modifiable, its light and cheap as you say, its size and design allow for it to fot many many rides!

You honestly dont know about cars unless your a ricer fan or dodge die hard fan.

Even then ricers use LS swaps.

define better. the mustang 5.0 was EXCELLENT MOTOR for a LONG time.

The V10 5.2 liter used in lambo and audio is a EXCELLENT engine. bmw volvo so many im not fixing to name them.

dodge 4.8 magnums i've seen few that had 350k!

no doubt they are good motors. i love them. but they aren't the most power or most reliable..

5.0 v8 that pushes a light car compared to 4-6 ton vehicle?

V10 engine that is only available in expensive vehicles unless you wanna try a cut down version in the excursion.

BMW/Volvo engines are never used for motor swaps unless in the same brand cars due to compatibility.

Were talking a versatile engine that has been ruling the race scene since it first was built.

see that's where we differ. i like reliable engines that offer 100 hp per liter. like the honda S2000.

You want a engine with high conpression that will die after 80k miles of constant thrashing from speeding.

Good luck you need fat pockets to keep replacing those valves and heads.

how about that electronic valve system that can be adjusted on the fly for lift a duration that needs NO cam shaft? dudes been trying to market it for years...
Price tag point of view possibly?

For a track car 80k is good. but the S2000 engine if very reliable and so are the other flat plane high rev motors if you treat them right but i agree there is NO getting away with high rpm unless we are talking turbofans etc etc..

cool fact. turbines have excellent torque and response..

Came in here to see if there was updates. No....I should have guess Losissatool arguing again. ****** *******. So tired of his mouth on every thread.
Only update so far is cleaned the interior spotless by removing carpet and seats.

Then removed racks on roof.

Now not sure if i stated this but foubd there was a hardened putty keeping a freeze plug from leaking so now i got a coolant leak at the freeze plug in front of the ***** which is back of motor.

Also the one near the starter
