I used liquid nails on mine and it doesnt budge one bit.

no , i know a guy who used them for test tubes and he puke 15-20 layers of fiberglass and 1 gallon of bondo on each tube and they still flexed, now he uses the pvc pipe and no flex at all

Go check with a plumbing company... you could go to a supplies distributor, but most usually just sell to businesses. If a smaller plumbing co. doesn't have 16" (most won't, as the biggest we ever use regularly is 8"), then check with the city water people and see if they have any excess laying around... they WILL have the bigger stuff.

If you want to attach it permenantly, TAR IT! j/k Liquid nails or silicone should work just fine...
