Its probably safe to say that you'll only find the best crawfish within alabama, mississippi, and louisiana...

Not always true. There are some places in GA that makes comparable crawfish to LA and this one spot in CA that i went to, they had their own recipe. It wasn't anything like from the south but it was pretty darn good and different.

forgot about georgia but would still say you would have a better chance in those 3 states to get the real stuff. Other places may have their own of something but its never like the original good ole cajun cooking. I cant say it was good or not because Ive never had them.

I had lobster in Florida once, it was horrible and didn't have any taste at all, So I'm going to take your word on this one and say that your right.

I used to catch crawfish when I was a kid and they were gross. I'm sorry, but I just can't see myself ordering something like that from a menu.

Every Catfish I catch goes right back in the water. I just can't see myself eating a slimy bottom dweller like that.
