I haven't seen an amp do that before... I think either your measuring equipment is wrong/miscalibrated/cheap, or you're not setting it up correctly.

Edit: Got to thinking, possibly a couple of comparators died, or something of the sort, but he(rgp) didn't hook it up to a sub to verify, or anything to analyze a waveform.
