They must be the lucky few. Everyone I speak to - even though they may say that their unit is fine - seem to have an ever-running list of parts they had to replace on it. If I ever sought out to be a mechanic it would be marine-based. There is no shortage of business...i have several friends that have boats and have had very few problems with them. most of their boats are several years old.
id love to just pull it up on the shore line like that. i love the lay out of the bass boats but id like to put it in the bay where waves get a bit bigger. the boat will most def be bought used.Get something like a Carolina Skiff. They're small and cheap, but are perfect for what you're wanting to do.
Get one like this with a 50hp outboard and you're set.
