Boat Peeps come in

What type of fishing?

I am more of a bass boat lake fisherman although my dad has some nice boats and takes us out on the intercoastal and ocean in Florida but we never catch anything.

Well, i doubt you will find much *** relying on the boat in the $1500 range but you could get into something. I would imagine you could find a decent shape tri hull for that price range with a 8 in it to power through the ocean. Just be sure its in good running shape since the ocean isnt exactly a place to end up dead in the water...

FISHING FOR SURE!!! no ski, pleasure would be nice and the panties lol but not a must

neither...ill be on the ocean? flats i guess i live in florida
i figured it would be ocean but wasnt sure what part of the state you lived in. have to make sure whatever you get has a little weight to it and has an engine for salt water.

if you dont mind putting in a little work this would be a good choice in my opinion.

work like? i live in tampa floirda

i was looking at that also!!!1

Originally a 1975 Sportcraft open fisherman hull. The hull and decking were completely redone by the previous owner in 1988 to open up the deck and convert it from inboard to outboard. The boat has a huge amount of deck space ideal for diving or fishing. The original hull had a cuddy-cabin that was removed and turned into deck and storage space (see pic). The boat was completely rewired with brand new running lights and a live bait well 2 summers ago. Also has an in-deck fish box and another aerated well. It is wired for GPS, humminbird depth/fish finder, and radio w/antenna, and has a new switch panel and all new gauges (the gauges are in place but not connected). Deck paint is chipping in areas but overall hull is in great shape. The boat is on a custom triple axle trailer (no tag) with new lights (see pics). Will most likely need new tires but should travel. Equipped w/ a 1983 Evinrude 175HP Outboard V6 VRO (see pics). The motor fires but bogs down under load. Compression is good and even across all 6 cylinders. I suspect it needs the carbs rebuilt or replaced. Comes with anchor, chain, lines lifejackets, humminbird depth/fish finder, and radio (no battery). I need to sell this boat to make room for my RV. She needs a little TLC but the price is right. All reasonable offers will be considered -$1000 obo cash!

1, redone decj ok?

2. conversion a bad thing as in realiability?

3. what would i do about the paint?

4. wat about to motor? how much would that cost?

that was a brain fart. i didnt look to see where you were from.

from the pics just finishing the carpet and seating. its 1000 obo. you could probably get it for 700-750. you would be looking at about 500 or so to finish the seating and carpet. maybe a little less if you can do it yourself

the deck being redone should mean it will be solid for a good 10 years or so. which saves you a good amount of money and a pain in the ass

the conversion isnt a bad thing. outboards are easier to repair if they need it.

deck paint isnt an issue if you carpet it.

even if you had to replace the carbs on it you can probably get them for less than 100.

Look into an older carolina skiff 16-18 footer. Their boats are cheap and would be fine for flats.

si' flats fishing pretty much makes a skiff a neccesity. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
