It was said quite a few times the 175a fuse is more like a real 250a fuse because they tested one of the fuses and put like 275a through it before it melted....

There is no denying that the 2k6d and 7k is a little over rated but these amps will do huge power for amps size and are solid amps.
My 2k6d did 3k at .5ohms for burps off a little stinger 1700. And as people know that isn't enough battery for this little amp. Is it the most efficient amp on the planet, NO. But I makes great power for size and I have yet to max it out by adding more battery.
You should expect at least 2k music at 2ohms and at least 2500w music 1.4ohms and that's with minimum battery like a stinger 1700. Give it a good group 31 (nsb g3100 for example) and it'll do more.
