Hi, I purchased 2 new stetsom 2k6d to put in my vehicle and only ended up using one. This amp is brand new in the box and still in the shrink wrap. Price is $720 shipped in the usa. Will post up pics later on tonight.

They're good amps and all, but people would rather get something else that does similar wattage for a couple hundred less...

Im impressed with the one that i have installed so far. Alot smaller then the american bass vfl200.1 it replaced and it seems to slam just as hard. Have not metered or clamped it yet though. The ab was a great amp as well.

The 2k6d will beat any other amp in it's class for power and no other amp stands a chance in this size......I have personaly test these amps.

The 2k6d was .8 Db Louder than a XXV Colossus(rated at 3.2KRMS) at the SAME ohm load, the Stetsom would have KILLED the Colossus if I had at lower ohm load...BOTH were tested @.7 Ohms.

Stetsom was also found to be .6 Db Louder than a Visonik 4000D. Once again Both were tested at .7 Ohms....AND at 1.4 ohms the Stetsom was .8Db louder.

I could list PROOF all day that these amps ARE power houses and WORTH EVERY PENNY. The fact that they are more than 1/2 the size of OTHER amps than do less power is just a +++++

RETAIL on the 2k6D is $950 in the US...this guy has a GREAT DEAL for some lucky person.

This is how these amps are built. This is NOT a chin or jap amp....find a amp of the same size that does the same or more power and in a smaller case. Not every one has room to fit a 2 1/2 foot++ amp in there car.

I heard that a Stetsom 7kd is just two of these amps strapped together,, Is this correct? Does anyone know if a 7kd will do rated power? SOrry if a lil off topic

YUP..there are 2 2k6d's in the 7k. There are 2 diffrent 7ks board design though....a 1 board and 2 board..1 board is better. As far as rated power...they will do rated power at rated ohm load AT LEAST.

For a burp WATCH OUT...I belive they were around 9K for burps at a low ohm load. Also these amps(2k and 7K) are VERY effient.

The 2k6d has a internal fuse of 175 amps......WOW !!!!!
