The SQ on the 9512 isn't bad IMO but not the greatest sounding subs. There are definitely other subs you can choose from with much better SQ.

Buy it and find out for yourself, everyone has different opinions on them.

I actually have mine tuned lower. I would recommend it tuned in the 33-35 hz range for daily setups.
