hi.. can anyone tell me where to wire my remote wire for my aftermarket amp to for a 2006 bmw 330i. the person who installed my system installed a switch for me to turn off and on the amp but i always forget to turn it off so can anyone tell me step to step wat to do? thank you

I had to 2003 325i and it had the Harmon Kardon upgrade. The amp was in the trunk on the bottom left side. The wire I used was a pure white wire. Pull off or pull down that carpeted panel, just take out those black panel holder clippy things. You really need a Voltometer for this job, you can put a tiny slit in the wire to test it first.

You can get into your ignition harness and find the ACC wire. This is your main switched wire that should be about 12 AWG. just solder into that and run your wire to the amp as the new remote wire...the color of the wire can be found along with all other wiring color codes at directechs.com
