friend of mine has one of these, never had the courage to shoot it at his ranch. i have had a few friends take their best shot and wound up regretting it, they likened the feeling to the way you feel after a car wreck.

i will stick to .40 and .45 cals

just standing 20-30 feet away when this thing is fired can be felt. makes your hearing protection seem like it is not on and your body feels the impact. its amazing, but i will pass. afterall they just shoot birds and into the river on his property. the birds look great, because you definitely know if you hit them if you get my drift.

Your a wuss! Most 50 bmg's kicks less than a 12 ga shotgun. I take mine to shoots and the womens are all over it. If you could afford the ammmo, you could shoot it all day and not be sore.

The cheap part is the gun! You need a scope that can handle the sound wave and flex from the 50 bmg round. A good scope for the .50 will start at 1k. Ammo and re-loading supply are getting hard to find, and stupid expensive when you do.

it doesnt kick much, thats not what he said its more the velocity of the bullet leaving the barrel creates a small shockwave that you can feel, and it has a velocity close to 2800 f/s so yea, just a little loud too

My local range allows up to .60 or .55 Caliber which is for muzzle loaders if I recall so technically I could shoot this there lol

Also Id rather Have a Desert Eagle, same caliber and way more fun

Note I said same caliber not the same amount of power also the desert eagle would be alot more fun cause with the bmg youd blast through almost any target.

i had it backwards. So much for thinking.

It makes more sense that the semi would be more with the recoil damping system in it, while the bolt action doesnt.

If i did shoot one, i want to shoot the bolt action. Semi-auto BMGs are for pvssies.
