Yes plenty people know a lot more about C. Audio than me, but I also have been working with Sony and Blau. for oh about 12 years now. I think I know a little about the companies that some just cant pick up on through each web site. Have you personally tore apart a Blau? I didnt think so? Have you had years worth of reputable conv. with dealer reps about these two companies? Hardly. Fine you like the Blau. that is awesome. But dont start sh*t you know nothing about packerasslicker. As far as Im concerned I have proved my points with FACTS and you have done nothing but act like a jr higher, so this thread is closed IMO. If you have some actual facts on something you can PM me otherwise get a life and if you are going to really argue a point better have more than "this is what I know" as your sources. PEACE!

Yes you're right, sony's other products are great. Basically everything except for their

old car audio is awesome. Couldn't be better. They lead the industry in many areas.

Back 5 years ago and before when they had the ES line, those were awesome and we

were all using them. Good reliable stuff.

Seems that out of a whim, sony wanted something showy, so they threw together the

Xplod lineup, which hasn't proven to be anything to be giddy about.

For WHATEVER the reason is, sony doesn't have the reliability OR sq of blaupunkt.

Like I said, a lot of products are made in the same build house, and 99% of them

own each other in some way, but still, products DO differ greatly, no matter where or

whom they come from.

Sony just didn't put any thought into their car audio in the last 5 years, especially

compared to their other departments, in which they're remarkable in. Not bashing sony,

just saying that they don't give a crap about car audio, except for how it looks. Just

more showy crap to please the 16-21 year old crowd.

blaupunkt and sony may share the same parts (so some say) and the reps may be one and the same (no they aren't).

i have used blau and sony stuff and blau ownz sony in every way as far as i know. and the reps well the sony rep drives a ford has red hair and is a fat sucker and the blau rep well skinny knowlegeable old man grey hair and drives a ford.. Hmmm. i have also got on layby now a blau deck for use in my mums new car when she gets it and i would have gone an alpine dack if they sold them with the same features etc at that price but they don't so //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif :nono:
