blowthrough/6 12's

feel your pain with the leg thing, had reconstructive surgery on my knee's when i was 15, granted im only 19 now but ya it sucks... expect your leg to be KILLIN you when the weather is changing(summer to winter, vice versa). right now my knees are on fire...

and ya insurance give men higher premiums because we get in less accidents, but they are alot more severe... cuz we like to go fast like ricky bobby... IM ON FIRE lol

I thought about that, but someone I talked to said silicone has no holding strength. I also thought conatct cement but I dont thint it would hold up to well unless i poured a ton of it in there:laugh:
And I dont want to do that.
to comment on this I've used silicon to attach many things and it has a lot of holding strength because when sealed the silicon creates a suction making the bond strong.

on another note the build looks great man. sorry to hear about the accident and hope everything is going well.

Got the subs mounted and ****ed up the paint towards the front so now I have to tape off and cover the 2 subs in front and re spray it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

lol holy shit awesome job man i love this build.question though how do subs like this type of setup compared to actually being ported cause that doesnt look ported but im sure its not considered sealed either.i like it alot good job let me know when your done with those subs

those front spots that got filled with foam -

those looked like they would of been perfect to put a battery in each one for extra reserve power. im just sayin..

wishing I had more room in my car to fit a bigger setup. haha.

yours looks real good. definately like the box.

Thanks.. I actually thought about putting some batcap 800's in there but once you see how this thing goes in the blowthrough a battery right there would not work out.. I have plenty of bed space left for 6 batteries though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Lol.. Thanks bud.. I'm not quite understanding your question but this box is a 4th order bandpass.. Its made to essentuate the lows in the 31hz and below region.. Its efficient all the way down to 16hz. Its rear chamber sealed and front chamber vented and tuned.

What makes you think I'm going to be getting rid of these?

Lol but I do change systems out at least once every 3 months.

thats a sick build dude sorry to hear about your accident on my 18th birthday a woman plowed into my old explorer doing about 50 I had a slight concussion but the truck was totaled and the thing that pissed me off the most was I just finished the stereo in that truck
