Earlier this year i blew a sub... since I was at college and didn't want to take the time to deal with it. I simply turned off the subs on my HU (panasonic). Now, I've got some money and I'm about to replace the sub, but the amp isn't acting right. Is it possible for an amp to be damaged because of a blown sub. I was running two 12's on the amp. Anyways some help would be appreciated.

Anything's possible. It's also possible your amp was what was originally damaged and took out your sub.
