oh
Just was given 2 12in audiobahn AW1251T's and 2 12in audiobahn AWC12T's which are all blown except for one.. Thinking about reconing them for my budget build but not sure if it's worth it. Any suggestions or offers lol

If you can do the work yourself it might be worth it. If you have to pay for the recone service as well as shipping, it's totally not worth it.

Either way, using them all in the same install would be ghetto.

I reconed a HDC3 18 with no problem I'm just having trouble finding recones for these. Yeah it will be ghetto but I was planning on getting 2 cheap 15's for a budget build but these fell in my lap so I might just use em. In the right enclosure I think they'll do ok

All four of those subs can be had, brand new, for $400. They're hardly worthy of recones and they aren't even the same. Mixing subs is ghetto, even if it's for the sake of a budget build.

Use the cash you'd waste on reconing these mix & match Audiobahns on some PG RDS's, MB Quart RWE-304's, Alpine Type R's or Hifonics HFi's...

I just got done reading that audiodave crap that was rediculous lol. I was on this forum alot last year infact Mike465 built my HDC318 box for me. I been away for awhile and now I wanna get back in on a tight budget lol. .5 stable amps are hard tio find cheap unless you know of any so I should probably be looking at amps that will do 1500 @2ohms

Some people have said the MB Quart DSC1500.1 is stable @ .5 ohms, but I don't know if there's any truth to that.

Dumbasses like AudioDave come and go on this forum on a daily basis. It was really nothing out of the ordinary...
