Blowing Fuses

Ok I've had this problem and cant seem to fix it.

I'm running a 700s Rockford amp to two dual voice coil HX2 Rockford subs. I laso have a Rockford headunit. I think its the RFX9300.

The deck's volume goes up to 30, but if I turn it up around 15 or 16 the amp fuse blows.

I have no idea what can casue this. Is it just too much power going to the amp? I've traced the power wire all the way through and it is not exposed or hitting any metal.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jesse

take the fuse rating of all your amps and get the same size up front on your inline. i had the same problem a while ago.

mine was blowing every 2 seconds, untill i eventually melted a foot of wire and my whole fuse casing.
